Gwen M. Moore is an experienced Family Law and Estate Planning attorney. She concentrates her practice in the area of divorce, child custody, parenting time, adoption, child support, spousal support, mediation, collaborative law, wills, trusts, probate, special needs planning, guardianship, and pet trusts.

Gwen prioritizes being accessible to her clients and providing straight forward, practical advice to meet each client's unique circumstances. She chooses to practice in the area of family law because of her desire to help people in a difficult period of their life. She knows that going through a divorce is a very emotional and trying time. Her goal is to guide her clients through the divorce process as efficiently and painlessly as possible, while protecting the children from the turmoil of divorce. To that end, she has been trained in the use of mediation and collaborative law. She has served as a court appointed child's attorney and has received extensive training in minimizing the impact of divorce on children.

Gwen was a former Deputy District Attorney in charge of the dependency and child support units in Lincoln County, Oregon. In that capacity, Gwen has had extensive experience in dealing with children and families in crisis and has a solid understanding of how child support is calculated, possible rebuttals to include in the calculation, and child support modifications.

In the estate planning area, Gwen is focused on her desire to give clients peace of mind today by knowing that they have planned for their future by protected their assets, children and pets in the event of their death or incapacity. Gwen understands that for many pet owners, their pets are considered members of the family. However, many pet owners fail to think about what will happen to their pets upon the owners' disability or death. You may wonder what you would do without your pet, but what would your pet do without you? The existence of a pet trust can literally mean the difference between life and death for your pet. Gwen can design a pet trust that will ensure your beloved companion is cared for in the manner specified by you, if you are no longer able to provide that care yourself. A pet trust is a legally binding document. It will give you peace of mind in knowing that your pet will receive proper care for life.

When she isn't in the office, Gwen enjoys all that the Central Oregon lifestyle has to offer. You will find Gwen and her family mountain biking at Phil's Trail, rock climbing at Smith Rock, walking their dog, Thunder, at Shevlin Park, downhill skiing at Mt. Bachelor, and cross country skiing at Skyliners.
